The
company started in 1992 making audio packs for the tourist and leisure industry
under the Car Rambler brand name.
Merger
with Wardgate Associates Limited followed in 1994, with Wardgate remaining
the Holding Company and publisher from that date. CR-Promo packs are used
for all Car Rambler products.
The Birkbeck Macleod scarf and glove ranges, both in cashmere and lambs wool, were introduced in 1995. These luxurious products are made only in Scotland, and come in bespoke presentation boxes.
Wardgate Calendars were introduced in 1998, to service existing Car Rambler and Birkbeck Macleod customers. Wardgate Calendars specialise in Compact Desk calendars and offer 6 stock ranges per year plus a fully flexible bespoke service.
Web site production was established in 2001 to provide effective and affordable web sites for those companies without this facility.
Diaries became part of the product range in 2002 to allow our customers to select both calendars and diaries from the same source. Although our diaries have a quality feel they are of a durable nature - a stylish addition to our range
